Since 1998, Deli Planet has been a North Point staple, serving up Pennsylvania-style hoagies, Phillys, burgers, fresh salads, and specialty sandwiches with a side of heart. Founded by Wichita Falls native and Hirshi High School graduate Eric Rutledge, this family-run gem sits just outside the main gate of Sheppard Air Force Base—where locals, airmen, and visitors alike gather for bold flavors and hometown hospitality.

Eric, born and raised in Wichita Falls, brings East Coast flair to North Texas with hand-sliced meats, fresh-baked breads, and a signature hoagie dressing known as American vinaigrette—a tangy, savory finish that sets every sandwich apart. With the Rutledge family at the helm, Deli Planet isn’t just a sandwich shop—it’s a mission to serve quality food and treat every guest like kin.
